Analisis Perdagangan Intra Industri Komoditas Kakao Indonesia dan Malaysia

The situation of the international market has entered era globalization which resulted in changes trade. If a country can export as well import commodity, then that will specialize producing product so to increase its productivity by reducing cost production per unit. This involve exchange products from same industrial sector, known Intra-Industrial Trade. As third highest cocoa exporting world, Indonesia's exports, exports are still dominated beans, Indonesia loses lot added value derivative products. purpose this study is identify intra-industry trade commodities and Malaysia. uses secondary time series data with range 2015-2019 cross sections several trading partners (China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand Vietnam). Researchers used descriptive quantitative analysis using Grubel-Lloyd Intra-Industry Trade Index (IIT Index) approach. results indicate intra-industrial index for Indonesian Malaysian 65.04% rather strong integration, indicates Malaysia intensely importing commodities. Based on HS Code Cocoa Products, it was found Products 18050000, namely Flour/ powder not containing sugar or other swee etening matter became mainstay imports between PII classification 88.69%, meaning nine flour most widely exported imported both countries. Followed Block Form Chocolate (HS 18062000) 62.33% Slightly Strong Classification.
